French giants LOSC Lille have announced on their official website that they have completed the signing of Sebastien Corchia from Sochaux.
Les Dogues decided to make a move on their long-term target after Franck Beria had picked up a serious injury and they quickly managed to reach an agreement with their league rivals.
Corchia had a contract until June 2015 with les Lionceaux, but decided to leave the sinking ship and join one of league s in-form sides.
The 24-year-old had been linked with Europe s top clubs in the past, including Bayern Munich, Juventus and Arsenal, but Lille were the first side to submit an official proposal.
Corchia joined Sochaux from Le Mans in the summer of 2011 and went on to make 85 Ligue 1 appearances for les Lionceaux, scoring 1 goal.
Lille face Nice away as they hope to end a four-match winless run and kick-start their league campaign, with Rene Girard s men .
